Good to the last drip

Drip e-mail marketing is one of the concepts that we often hear mentioned. According to Wikipedia:

"Drip e-mail is the process of sending pre-written e-mails to your clients on a regular basis for a specific period of time, helping build their confidence in you, creating top-of-mind awareness for your name and business, and providing information your clients will find useful."

Perhaps your company delievers a product or service that is very useful for prospects, but one that is only needed every year or even more rarely. How do you ensure that your company has mindshare when the decision to buy is made, say two years down the road?

Good to the last drip!Well, if you, at regular intervals, "drip" information that has value to those prospects, chances are that they will associate your company with a solution that is useful to them. And e-mail newsletters would certainly fulfill the task of delivering such information.

A number of companies has sprung up that delivers e-mail services with management of your mailing lists online. Such a solution seems to work well for many companies.

And if this information, the tips and tricks that delivers value to your prospects, were available online, all the time, back to the very first issue and in an easy format, the benefits to your company would be far greater.

Such "lasting" drips might be stored on the e-mail newsletter provider's site. And as such they would certainly be useful.

But what if they were stored on YOUR company's website instead, and created in your company's custom design, just like the rest of the website? Not only would it look better, and work better with your branding, those e-mail newsletters would also be available as part of your site's regular navigation menus, your audience could search for specific terms across all editions - and they would be indexed by all the search engines that come by quite often.

Speaking of which: When your e-mail marketing drips are part of your company site, it will have more Search-Engine Appeal and better rankings from the new content regularly published.

Now the drips have become, if not a torrent, then at least a steady stream of benefits over time - all available at no extra cost for companies whose website are already based on caSaaS web CMS. The newsletters are created and edited on the fly in caSaaS Manager, just like regular webpages.

Your marketing efforts are turned into good, and lasting, drips.
