Additional domains
Although the number of sites in any caSaaS web CMS subscription is unlimited, you may wish to be able to handle more than one domain. For example, you may already have several sites in your subscription like mycompany.com, intra.mycompany.com, campaign.mycompany.com and cust1.mycompany.com.
An additional domain lets you handle another domain, for example myproduct.com, seamlessly in your subscription. And you may do so in two very different ways.
Virtual domains
A virtual domain lets you handle situations similar to domain redirects - but in a more elegant way that search engines don't interpret your content as duplicacte pages. When your additional domain is pointed directly, not redirected, to your caSaaS subscription, your audience will see your main site, without the distracting frames that many hosts add in exchange for their "free" redirect services.
So you get the full branding value of having the additional domain. Each subscription comes with a number of virtual domains included. You can buy more in bundles of 10 for $7.50/month, payable monthly or annually, depending on your caSaaS subscription. You can also get an additional 25 virtual domains for $15.00/month, or 100 for $30.00/month.
Full domains
Whereas a virtual domain lets you route traffic to your main website only, additional full domains in essence add a full dimension to your caSaaS subscription. So when you point your example myproduct.com directly to caSaaS, you may direct it to any site in your subscription, for example to product1.mycompany.com, customer1.mycompany.com, or even to its very own site www.myproduct.com. And you may also create as many subdomains as you wish off your additional, full domain.
That gives you the value of two full caSaaS subscriptions, but at a much reduced price. Full domains are available for $15.00/month for one additional domain, $30.00/month for 3, $60.00/month for 10 domains, and $120.00/month for 25 additional, full domains. These amounts are payable monthly or annually, depending on your caSaaS subscription.
